Dr. Rami Ghurani's journey into Plastic Surgery began during his time at Case Western Reserve University's School of Dentistry. It was there that he first encountered patients with multiple facial deformities through his work in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Inspired by this experience, he pursued additional training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) and obtained his medical degree from the University of Miami's Faculty of Medicine.
After completing his training in OMFS, Dr. Ghurani embarked on the path towards Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He initially completed his training in General Surgery. Then, he joined the Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of South Florida's Faculty of Medicine under the guidance of David J. Smith Jr. Before beginning his plastic surgery residency, he had the valuable opportunity to spend a scholarship year with Dr. S. Wolfe, a world-renowned Plastic Surgeon specializing in Craniofacial Surgery.
After completing his comprehensive training, Dr. Ghurani remained at the University of South Florida's medical school, conducting many plastic surgery procedures. His affiliation with the Moffitt Cancer Center, in collaboration with USF, allowed him to accumulate extensive experience in breast reconstructive surgery and other oncological reconstructions. This extensive experience positioned him advantageously and equipped him with unique and essential skills to perform aesthetic surgeries on the face and body.
Dr. Ghurani understands the significant influence that enhancing one's appearance can have on self-assurance and self-belief. He views it as an honor to play a role in this life-altering journey. As a devoted medical professional, he provides an extensive range of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery options, spanning both surgical and non-surgical choices to rejuvenate the face and body.
